I got the ladder idea for phase 2 suggested by @SairentoZ7 triggering the brute on a timer, ensuring the bottom floor will be empty when he comes. You can tell when the brute will spawn by the music since it always resets to the same point at the beginning of phase 2.

Weird early stagger that can happen that allows the fight to be done in two cycles or greatly simplify the third cycle. This occasionally happens, not sure what causes it - might be related to melee critical hits.

    What is the best handgun to do these challenges?red9?

      It's doable with any of the handguns. I'd recommend the SG-09R for the village, Blacktail for the castle and island but occasionally use the Matilda with the stock for the late game bosses.

    When you paused after the El Gigante fail, I could feel the rage coming through my screen. That was so unbelievably cheap. I remember during the village fight, I thought that after the bell starts ringing, any enemies' attack animations will be canceled. Needless to say, I was very surprised when Salvador decided to ignore the bell and continue to swing his chainsaw, cutting me in half. I applaud his commitment though.

It was a combination of two annoying things: Luis causing staggers randomly making me miss knife executions (the prompt only shows up for a few milliseconds) and then the Bella sister turning around from light stuns just before the final stab (if I was behind her at the final stab it would not have hit me). I ended up having to change strategy since I can't control what Luis can do. 😂

      @@keyvan6139 Don't be too close to the enemy and start backing up a little as they attack if you can (that usually increases the parry window significantly). Make sure Leon is facing the incoming attack as well (for some attacks you can only parry if you're facing it). Camera plays an important role in it. Some parries like mutated Krauser I can only make it more or less consistent if done from the same angle / distance. Most Ganados' parries work pretty well in my opinion and you can quickly master them with some practice. But for some bosses like Verdugo, mutated Krauser, and Saddler, it takes a long time to get used to it.
